Pay It Forward Friday

I am deviating from the norm today – no politics, diet woes, or complaints of any kind. (Shocked? Me too!) No worries, I’ll be my usual mix of sleep deprived wit and flea market wisdom next week, but now, I need your help.

First, I live in the Northeast, close too, but not directly whacked by Hurricane Sandy. Many of our coastline friends, however, are still without power, water, and necessities. Please consider a donation, a dollar makes a difference. Here is the link.

Second, I updated the Read This page.  (Look up, top of the screen, little magic button, see it?) This month’s selections come from highly diverse authors with one thing in common –  they all have my unyielding respect.

Kathryn Taubert, Anita Grace Howard, and Jennifer Wilck each, unknowingly, offered a bit of encouragement along my writing path at just the right moment. A friendly comment here, sage advice there, each bit of optimism miraculously arriving in my inbox at the exact moment my confidence was…um…nesting in the porcelain punch bowl.

These fabulous women will capture your heart, and possibly scare the whoo-ha out of you, but each is a jewel in the treasure chest of storytelling! Enjoy!

Happy Weekend!

  1. Anita says:

Kathryn, you lovely lady you! Thank you so much for the shout out. I’m thrilled that anything I ever said helped you even a little on this wacked out journy of ours. LOL. BTW, your blog Babble in the Blurbs has given me many laughs at times I needed to be lifted up, so consider us even on all counts. I’m so happy and honored to know you! ❤

  2. Oh, thank you so much–I’m glad I could be of assistance when you needed it! And being in one of the FEMA-declared disaster zone counties, let me underscore the necessity of donations (not for me personally, but my neighbors). Everything is appreciated–even good thoughts!
